The error lies where ANN counts “Tougenkyou Eirian” & “Dilemma” as OP’s for the previous season, too, which they are not. IKIMONO GAKARI SAKURA ENGLISH LYRICS SERIESMy mistake happened due to the inconsistency between ANN and Jap wiki, over the Gintama’ series # of OP/ED’s. Anyway, blame KENTA □Īlso, it’s OP 05 not 03. I haven’t watched it, so I’m not sure but if this is not the case, then “ The Moon That Fulls With Cherry Blossoms” is the most, if not the only, sensible title translation, and it also meshes well with the song’s own content. looks like the likelier interpretation is “Cherry Blossom Honeymoon” (pronunciational word play with “mitsugetsu”which is the word for honeymoon) as it is intended to have a slight reference to Gintama anime’s content material. ò~ò”ĮDIT 14/03: Or maybe it does mean something. Writing the title in katakana was KENTA’s naughty little smart idea anyway. T/N: The title, romanized as “sakura mitsutsuki” does not generate any sensible meaning, even with possible gikun’s considered ‘mitsu’ = to wax (as opposite to ‘kakeru’ = to wane) is used of the moon.
